WEICON Flex 310 M F1X is an elastic adhesive and sealant based on MS polymer. The grey adhesive is very strong and universally suitable for permanently fixing almost all materials to a variety of surfaces. Thanks to the very high initial adhesion, bonding is possible on vertical surfaces and even overhead, both indoors and outdoors. For example, Flex 310 M F1X can be used to bond metals, many plastics, ceramics, wood, glass and stone to each other. The permanently elastic adhesive can be painted over “wet on wet”, is sandable, weather-resistant, moisture-resistant, ageing-resistant, mould-resistant and UV-resistant. It is briefly (up to 30 minutes) resistant to temperatures up to 180°C and can be powder-coated after a curing time of four days. The adhesive and sealant is free of silicone, isocyanates, halogens and solvents and is non-corrosive. Flex 310 M F1X can be used for fixing skirting boards, acoustic panels, strips, frames, panels, boards, tiles, stones and EPDM foil. It can be used in drywall and interior construction, metal construction, tank and apparatus construction, container construction, ventilation and air conditioning technology, trade fair and shop construction, yacht and boat building and wherever silicones or products containing silicone are not suitable.

WEICON Zinc Spray is approved by the German TÜV and provides all metal surfaces with a long-lasting cathodic corrosion protection. It forms a fast-drying, adherent protective layer of microfine zinc flakes. Even after more than 1050 hours in the salt spray test according to DIN EN ISO 9227, metal parts coated with WEICON Zinc Spray did not show any signs of corrosion. The zinc flakes form a resistant protective layer even against extreme weather and environmental conditions. That way, WEICON Zinc Spray fulfils higher requirements than those defined by the DIN EN ISO 1461 standard. WEICON Zinc Spray can be used as a high-grade anti-rust primer, for the coating of welded joints and drill holes, as a conductive intermediate layer for spot welding and wherever metal must be protected against corrosion.

Gel for fast and reliable removal of rust and tarnish. Rust Remover Gel can be used on ferrous steel, brushed stainless steel, copper, brass, chrome and silver. It has a high reaction speed, penetrates very well and is very economical. The gel removes tarnish in just a few seconds. With rust, the removal process can take between 15 minutes and 12 hours – depending on the degree of corrosion. The blue gel does not need to be heated for application but can be used at room temperature. This solution has a natural, solvent-free composition and ensures gentle rust removal. WEICON Rust Remover Gel can be used in various areas of industry and trade.

WEICON Anti-Stick is a liquid, grey 2-component epoxy resin system with mineral fillers for the protection of heavily stressed surfaces against aggressive chemicals and corrosion. It was specially developed for application with low-pressure equipment. In addition to the mineral fillers, Anti-Stick contains special additives that create an anti-stick effect and thus prevent flour, dust or suspended particles, for example, from sticking. The epoxy resin system has good chemical and thermal resistance up to +120 °C. It is free from solvents and cures with virtually no shrinkage. A coating with WEICON Anti-Stick, which gives surfaces a very smooth finish, increases the flow speed of liquids and thus increases the efficiency of pumps, pipes, valves, etc. by 5 % to 20 %. Anti-Stick is applied directly to the parts by sandblasting after thorough preparation of the substrate. The coating adheres very well to a wide variety of surfaces and is suitable for many different parts such as plain bearings, chutes, funnels and pipes as well as for coating castings and valves. The system can be used in mechanical and plant engineering, in apparatus engineering, in the paper industry, in the bulk goods industry, in exhaust gas systems, in mining, in open-cast mining, in chemical plants and in many other areas of industrial production. In any case, preliminary tests under practical conditions are recommended; especially if the parts are additionally exposed to increased temperature or mechanical stress. WEICON Anti-Stick is suitable on its own or in combination with one of the other WEICON plastic metal types for a system build-up as an anti-stick coating.

Flex 310 M FireSeal is a permanently elastic adhesive and sealant based on SMP with a fire resistance up to 120 minutes. Tested and classified for all joint structures according to EN 1366-4. The paint-compatible sealant with very low volume shrinkage meets the highest demands in terms of fire protection, such as the requirements of the International Maritime Organisation IMO FTPC Parts 2+5 as well as for rail vehicles in accordance with DIN EN 45545-2 R22/23 HL3. The very low emissions allow safe indoor application. Flex 310 M FireSeal adheres very well even to powder-coated, painted, galvanised, anodised, chromated and hot-dip galvanised surfaces. It is suitable for use on metal, plastics, concrete and wood. The adhesive and sealant can be used in many application areas. It is suitable for fire barriers and covers, for joints in non-structural components with fire resistance requirements, for connection joints and for sealing cable ducts, pipe openings and housings. Flex 310 M FireSeal can also be used in other industrial areas, such as vehicle and body construction, container construction, apparatus and fittings construction, the energy and electrical industries, insulation technology and plastics technology.
